30/4/2009new railings
By eagleyed:
Staying in Redpath drive and having over the years put up with vandals and neds causing mayhem, here's hoping this new fence been built along the hillside at Invergyle Drive will deter those bent on anti-social behaviour. Congratulations to whoever campaigned for its erection..
Grandpaw says: This hill has for many years, been the gathering place for drunken yobs causing mayhem and also damage to nearby property and cars, on their way to and from the hill. These railings should stop them reaching the hill from Invergyle Drive
eagleyed says: Lets hope the next step is enclosing the hill along Redpath as from my window I can see the neds drinking and shouting, they sit alongside the wall that backs onto the houses in Invergyle drive.
Last week a police car slowed down to look at them but done nothing!
Our lives are a misery and my neigbhours and I are dreading the late summer nights.
